Makoto Nakata is a ceramist inspired by the landscape and creates various works based in Yamashina, Kyoto, using his unique technique. For mountaineering and camping, which is his hobby, he has created a series of tools he really wanted to have by ceramics. By leaving a layer of air inside by baking at a low temperature, it is finished as an excellent tool for keeping warm and cold.
